Please read this important information regarding important changes we have made, or are planning to make to our fund range.
With effect from 1 October 2020, the Portfolio’s investment objective and policy wording will be amended to provide greater clarity on the Portfolio’s use of its reference benchmark, the S&P 500 Index. The prospectus of the SICAV will be updated accordingly.
The following changes will take effect from 1 October 2020:
- The Portfolio’s reference index will change to the JP Morgan Asia Credit Index Diversified;
- The expected level of leverage on a commitment basis will be reduced to 0-50%;
- Certain Share Classes will benefit from a reduction of the Asset Management Fee and Operating Expenses.
With effect from 2 October 2020, the Portfolio’s investment objective policy will change to focus on investment in companies with strong or improving environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) characteristics. As well as the changes to the investment objective and policy, the name of the Portfolio will change to Threadneedle (Lux) – Pan European ESG Equities. In addition, following a review of fees and as part of our commitment to ensure that fees are competitive and transparent, we have decided to reduce the fees applicable to the Portfolio. The prospectus of the SICAV will be amended accordingly.
We would like to inform you that the authorised corporate director (“ACD”) of the Company will cease to offer the Fund for public sale in Singapore with effect from 30 September 2020 (“the Effective Date”). Currently, the Fund is recognised by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”) as a collective investment scheme for retail offer in Singapore pursuant to section 287(1) of the Securities and Futures Act, Chapter 289 of Singapore (“SFA”). Following the decision to cease offering the Fund in Singapore, the Company will be withdrawing the recognition status of the Fund. Consequently, from the Effective Date, the Fund will no longer be recognised by the MAS and as such, will no longer be publicly offered in Singapore.
